In her debut collection, Spilling the Chai: Poems about Family and Food, Geneffa Jahan takes us to the most intimate room of the house and the most ritualized moments of a family to explore what must be revealed, addressed, and undone, choosing which spices to carry forward and which to discard.

Cry, Howl, the latest poetry collection by Edward Vidaurre, is sharply focused and insightful into today's reality. It penetrates the disturbing state of things in this "new normal" way of life that seems to besiege us all. Cry, Howl delivers another offering of poems of resistencia, with nature and elegies, cantos, and love sprinkled in

Círculo de poetas & Writers is a community of authors dedicated to the creation, promotion, and dissemination of multilingual multicultural poetry and prose through workshops, publications, and public presentations. Founded in 2015, the organization encourages diverse voices and is open to new and established writers. Circulo de poetas & Writers seeks to advocate for and represent writing communities of color and their contributions on local and national levels.
BLACK, AAPI, Indigenous peoples--we stand with you in solidarity--Tu lucha es mi lucha. Círculo de poetas & Writers stands in solidarity with BIPOC communities and acknowledges that we must strive toward social justice and the safety of BIPOC bodies in this nation. We value the voices, stories, and experience of BIPOC peoples while condemning the violence, harassment, and bigotry faced by our communities.
Membership in Círculo de poetas & Writers is open to all writers in any stage of their careers who wish to engage collaboratively with writers from communities of color. By working with each other, we hope to expand and develop our diverse voices into a supportive network that promotes POC in the literary arts.
